Elevation per loop uses climb gain only. Out & back doubles distance for the descent (common for hill repeats). Official Everesting® rules and verification are defined by Everesting — this tool is an educational estimate and is not affiliated with Everesting.

How are loops calculated?
Loops = ceil(target elevation ÷ elevation gain per climb). Example: 8,848 m target and 100 m gain → 89 loops.
What does Strava pull for a segment?
Distance and elevation from the segment profile (high − low elevation, or grade × distance when needed). Activities and routes use their reported total elevation gain.
Climb only vs out & back?
Climb only: total distance = loops × climb length. Out & back: total distance = loops × 2 × climb length (you descend the same hill), while elevation still counts the climbs only.
Why didn’t my private activity load?
Strava only returns private activities to authorized athletes. Log into Team Sportify with that Strava account, or copy elevation/distance from Strava and enter them manually.
